Child Care
The Yale-New Haven Hospital Daycare Center is available to employees of  Yale New Haven Health, Yale-New Haven Hospital and Yale School of Medicine. The facility serves children aged three months to five years. The design of the program allows teachers to guide and facilitate a child's development in a relaxed, family-style atmosphere. The Center is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and licensed by the Connecticut Department of Public Health. For more information, call (203) 688-5246.

Tuition Reimbursement
Yale New Haven Health encourages employees to pursue their secondary education. Effective January 1, 2009, full-time employees are reimbursed 100% up to $4,000 annually. Part-time employees receive up to $3,000 annually.

Dependent Tuition Loan
Employees who have completed five or more years of full-time employment (or an equivalent period using part-time service) are eligible for a dependent tuition loan of up to $2,500 per year for up to four academic years for an eligible dependent.

Credit Union
Yale New Haven Health employees and their families may join the Yale-New Haven Healthcare Federal Credit Union. The Credit Union's office is located on-site at the Hospital, and offers checking and savings accounts, loans, IRAs, and discount coupons.

Adoption Assistance
Employees who work 24 or more hours per week are eligible for adoption assistance of up to $6,000 for adoption-related expenses per child.

Deduct-A-Ride
Employees can save money on their taxes by electing a pre-tax paycheck deduction of up to $115 per month to apply toward transportation expenses, including a 50% subsidy of up to $45 per month..
